If you have a rift or some sort of HMD, give it a try! There are some downsides such as resolution but it's fun to just see the world of DDO in a new light in quests you have done a million times before. Our new guild on Wayfinder has a Windspyre Sparrow - the really small one - in VR I'd say its the same size as a small passenger ferry.Īs a gnome in first person fighting a giant - I can stare at his ankle just about. Walking up the cliffside path in Storm the Beaches, the fall looks really vertigo inducing. Standing at Baudry Cartamon and looking back across the harbour the whole thing looks to be a mile across.

Door switches are almost the same size as a Gnome. The corridors in waterworks for instance look about 15ft high. The effect of this is to see the world of DDO at its true scale and holy bejesus - everything is massive! Using the virtual desktop app and TriDef means you can easily run the game on your Rift in full SBS or over and under 3D on a huge virtual screen - enough to make the world appear close to 1:1 scaling. Then I found out you can use the Rift as a kind of virtual 3D monitor. I had a look at VorpX and maybe trying it in full VR but usually games not designed for VR fail miserably when tried through VorpX. Some games do have a native 3d mode though which could maybe be used.So I have a Rift and wondered if I could get some sort of 3D running on it for DDO. Dual boot probably is the way to go at the moment if neither VorpX, Vireio nor TriDef work. Maybe in the future that will be possible.

ABOUT R20 11 Digit Cinema 4D Serial Number (+. Sadly it is very closed source at the moment. 5 Full with free activation solution + tutorial for Cinema 4D (both Mac and Windows versions). For instructions look at the OP and at my post here: movement cloning:Īccording to the developer of Freepie at the MTBS3D forum there is currently no way to get to the driver core of the Rift. I did not get around to try VorpX or Vireio though. I personally think you should go with TriDef (it will enable side-by-side mode) and games in windowed mode to size the window according to the correct aspect ratio. When I re-read it now it makes sense to me ^^. How did you use FreePIE to control the view?īy Moerf on Feb 14th, 2014 10:08 not really, I just wanted to make everythin clear. I found myself often looking down in real-life while looking ahead in the game. I used Kainy for view control, and had to play around with the mouse sensitivity until I got it somewhat working, but far from perfect. Have to admit that it's still a fun experience this way.īiggest hurdle for me was the head movement. Actually being able to walk around Kleiner's lab during the "Red Letter Day" chapter was an awesome experience.Įdit: Just played a bit without head-tracking. Not close to actually being playable for me, but it's an awesome preview of things to come. I had to give this a try as soon as I saw your video with Half-Life 2, and it worked admirably, better than I expected.
Tutorial tridef 3d drivers#
I'll try with other drivers like VireIO and tell you about it. Immersion was good, aiming a bit more difficult than usual (no freeview in Borderlands 2 so all my head movements translated into mouse movements) and you miss the HUD in the corners.

The player practically supports all popular movie and photo containers and formats, including support for the proprietary formats used by the developers of the.
